This is happening. Starting, Yesterday.

SPECIFIC GUARANTY

"...the undersigned jointly, and severally and unconditionally guaranty to Jeremiah James Bearss the prompt and full payment of the following debt owed, which is to be difined as the immediate and full immersion of the aforementioned party, in the frozen & hellish waters, which shall here to be known as H20 of First Dam, Cache County, Logan UT. This is to be paid in full immediately upon the infraction of the contract which is the purchase of any non-essential item. be it clothing, fast food, or any unnecessary crap which could be purchased."

Translation-

I buy dumb things that I might not really need sometimes. I told J, that I didn't want to shop all of the month of Feb, and that I was going to make up a contract and he should sign it, so that in the off chance that I did buy something he would have to hold me to a bad consequence.

(yes I am 22 not 4 like you would think)

So we drafted up this legal document & if I do shop, or buy mozz sticks @ arbys, or get junk that for some reason I want at the time, I will have to do the worst punishment I could think of..

JUMP. IN. FIRST. FREEZING. COLD. DAM.

Let me explain the seriousness of this to you, I HATE being cold. more than anything. Except maybe clowns. (but Its not like I could hire a clown to come scare me if I bought pretzel bites for lunch, so this was the next best option.)

Although, right about now.. as AE is having bogo on Tanks (just got all new colors in) for a split second I did get a twinge of anxiousness. But alas I cannot! This will be good, I don't need to shop.. really!

For the remainder of this time (In effect until March 1st) I will keep you updated on my progress!

One Hundred & One.

I didn't even realize that my last post was my hundredth post!

In honor of my hundredth status I take you back to where it all began & give you an excerpt from my first post ever..

(can you believe its been 3 years!?!!)

Friday, January 2nd, 2009:

"I've learned that happiness is a choice, not just something that comes into your life randomly. People always wonder why they aren't happy or how they seem to never find it, but I don't think it is as hard as people make it out to be. Decide to be happy, be determined to find the good things in life everyday, and let go of the things that make you sad. When you forget the past and leave it behind you, I have found that happiness is upon you before you even recognize you have found it. & on that day you realize that all the stupid things that kept you down for so long aren't important anymore and that you are happy with the great blessings you have in the present. Not saying that bad things don't happen, but if you have a positive attitude then it is much easier to deal with all those not so happy things. I know now that if I want to be happy it is up to me and not the people or circumstances around me."

I need to remind myself of this everyday it seems! But I'm glad I was so wise & can learn from my past blogging self.

So now here's to my 101st post & hopefully for hundreds more to come.

Upon a long day of walking the strip Christmas Eve, I stumbled upon the brand spankin' new Cosmopolitan Hotel. At the floor level of this hotel there was a store with giant windows with the call of artsy intriguing furniture beconing to all who passed. When I went in I decided my house WILL have at least one obscene piece from Droog for every room. I love when people own & show their creativity in ways that no one else would ever think of. Really makes you appreciate everyones own little quirky talents. Here is a sample of this wonderful store.

I feel as though this week was somewhat of a blur.

School, blurry

work, blurry

home, blurry

..sleep.

Really though.

I forgot how busy school makes things! Craziness.

Well, in between not remembering specific events happening on what days, I love it.

I love being back in school especially since last night I went to my Drawing II class and it was great to be back into drawing. Not thrilled about my teacher but it's still new maybe he will get better.

Also, should I be superstitious?

This was my drawing focus for the entire semester!! & it fell & broke within the first 5 minutes of class. woops... My teacher still wants me to "stick with it".. bah

Also this, Me & my sister Sam are no longer the same age.. She is hitting the menace to society age of 23!! We made sure that she got her free ice cream & saddle ride for her Bday courtesy of Riko. She loved every second of it, can't you tell?

Happy Sushi

The picture is terrible, but it is a picture of the two of us none the less! We need to take more that's for sure!

Oh and if you like sushi, you should try Happy Sushi across the street from the 7 eleven on main. So fresh and delish. we got these three are the Logan roll (meh) the Mexican roll (foodgasm) & the sunny roll which was good but more like dessert cuz it had mangos & cream cheese! YUMMO!

Me & J also hit up the Factory Pizzeria on main under Gia's.

Dont judge us, its winter & freezing & theres limited ways to entertain ourselves so we are thoroughly enjoying new restaurants & trying new foods.

It was a sweet place! Kinda like The Pie which was cool cuz it felt like we weren't even in Logan. Good Pizza. Fun to watch the playoffs there cuz there were like 4 TV's. More fun because my single ladies (my roomies) were there. Just loved them being there. friendship.

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend & enjoy there day off tomorrow. Yay, MLK. so great.

Dashboard & The Machine Gun

The day was a Tuesday.

Jan. 11 to be exact.

(the first day of school! it was weird let's be honest.

definitely an adjustment to get back to balancing work & school

but I'm sure i'll pick it up again in no time)

in SLC for my bday present.

Our ignorant minds thought we should hit up Zupas for a little meal before we hit up urban (!!) & then the show.

I, Chelsea Babbitt am one of the biggest fans of Zupas btw, so you know for me to choose something else must mean that I am even more just in what I am about to share with you!

Just then a heaven sent revelation (if you will) came upon JJ's mind & we chose the road less traveled.. to Belgium! ..food.

We stumbled upon this teensy place

after he saw it on the travel channels Man vs. Food & wanted to try it out.

It is honestly that small. Theres about 7 chairs total in the restaurant at best.. Cozy & wonderful.

When we got there the original store owner was there! Straight outta Brugge, Belgium folks. He was friendly and answered our culture questions, it made the experience of trying his grandmothers recipes that much more exciting!

When we asked him what to order he said The Machine Gun for sure, and this other dish consisting of Frites (the most delicious fries I've honestly ever had) with a Belgium Beef stew on top. Sooooo delicious!!

Let's get down to business though. THE MACHINE GUN.

Anyways, after the food was the show.

I've never sat at the top of the venue but it is great!

Yay for being 21, now 22 even!

The show was great, Lady Danville opened for them & they were really good!!

Anyways, Chris was as nerdy sexy as ever.

It was a great flashback to my high school years, loving screaming infidelities & all.

New Year, New Times!

Wow last year was awesome!

Sometimes on certain days I find myself looking back to where I was that day on the last year.

Last New Years I was in Utah with my two favorite girls partying it up in uncomfortable shoes.

(you think I would have learned my lesson!!)

Cut to: this year (wearing the same shoes!) partying it up with one of my newest favorites!

It's so funny how things change in ways you would never have guessed!

I'm super excited to see where my life & my friends lives take us this year!
